Persistence of Vision

A little about me

James E. Cheek

Growing up in our Nation's Capital formed how I see the world

After working for years as an Information Technology (IT) consultant in my home of Washington, DC and travelling in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America overseeing technology implementations for USAID and various firms in the private sector, I decided to take a chance. Filmmaking had always been an elusive dream. Nevertheless, an MFA in Film later, a stint with ABC/Disney in Hollywood and work on various projects as a director, screenwriter, editor and cinematographer in Belize, Ghana and stateside, I am now returning to IT, using all of my talents, experience and passions to develop applications that empower users with the technology they need most.
